At Animal Medical Center I-35, we offer a large range of surgical services, including both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Each of our three surgeons have over 20 years surgical experience, and take great pride in keeping up with the latest surgical protocols and techniques. Patient safety and comfort is our highest priority, and we work very hard to maintain a state of the art surgical suite, fully outfitted with the most modern patient monitors, surgical equipment, and patient comfort items. We schedule surgeries Monday-Friday. If we need to refer a more advanced surgical case to one of the board certified surgeons, we will be happy to help facilitate that as well.
Cranial Cruciate Ligament injuries are very common in pets, and are comparable to an ACL injury in a person. There are several techniques available to repair these injuries, including TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) and Extracapsular Stifle Repair. If your pet should have this type of knee injury, we can discuss which of these surgical option that is right for your pet.
